Fall User Meeting 2011
1.-2. Sept. 2011 @ Free University Berlin This years fall user meeting included interesting talks, an OpenMS tutorial session and a group discussion for data management in mass spectrometry, rounded out with a small complimentary dinner.

OpenMS 1.8 Mac Installer fixed
We just finished the fix for the Mac OS X dmg packages of OpenMS 1.8. The 64bit package is already uploaded and can be downloaded as usual from Sourceforge. The 32bit package will follow in the next hours.

OpenMS 1.8 Mac Installer broken
We just found that the Mac installers for 1.8 are missing a dependency package and thus will not run on most systems. A fix is on the way. ETA: Monday 28th March 2011.

OpenMS/TOPP 1.8 released
OpenMS/TOPP 1.8, the latest stable version of OpenMS/TOPP, has been released. In addition to the normal collection of bug fixes, and stability enhancements, this release also contains some serious improvements of TOPPAS and TOPPView. OpenMS user meeting on the 1-2nd of March 2010
We successfully organized the third OpenMS user meeting in Dortmund. The stimulating atmosphere at the ISAS in Dortmund opened interesting discussions and gave important input for future directions of OpenMS.
